Following a great performance by England at Euro 2020, we thought we would give it a go, and try and raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity at the same time.
On Saturday 28th of August, we’re all taking part in a company football match to raise funds for The Brain Tumour Charity, and let off a bit of steam at the same time. Due to ongoing precautions surrounding Covid-19, attendance is limited to family & friends of employees, but we will be sure to share the highlights and updates on our fundraising.
We are keen to continue this fundraising on an ongoing basis, so if you have anything you would like to see us doing, we would love to hear about it! Just send us an email or message us on social media and we will happily get involved.
Why the Brain Tumour Charity?
We chose the Brain Tumour Charity in memory of Simon Collins, who sadly passed away earlier this year having battle this illness for several years. His father, Kevin, has been part of the furniture here at Pym & Wildsmith for over 27 years, and this is a loss felt by everyone at the company.
We have already started raising funds for this cause, with our Euro 2020 sweepstakes raising £72, and the Collins family and friends already raising over £1200 in Simon’s memory.
We’ve set up a fundraising page for the event where anyone can donate to this great cause:
