Playing Pool for The Brain Tumour Charity

It’s a new year, and time for everyone at Pym & Wildsmith to start fresh with our fundraising journey. Last year we hit a total of £1608 raised for the Brain Tumour Charity, and this year we are looking to raise even more than that.

We originally set out to raise money for the Brain Tumour Charity in memory of Simon Collins, the son of one of our long-time employees, who sadly passed away last year.

To kick things off, March saw our first charity event of the year take place, with us hosting an employee pool tournament in our staff canteen. 23 people entered, with entry fees being split between a prize fund and a donation to the Brain Tumour Charity.

Everyone had a great time, with Richard, one of our Production Team Managers, eventually taking the top spot! We set out in 2022 with a target of £1610, and with events like this, and another successful annual football game in the summer, we are hoping to go even further with this year’s fundraising!
