Mr Phil Warren
Within this interview, you’ll learn fun facts and may just share common interests you never even knew about…
What sort of jobs did you do before?
I began my career in manufacturing 30 years ago in a relatively small window manufacturing company. We made Upvc windows and sold them to the trade (I was not a double glazing salesman!) I started on the shop floor cutting straight Upvc cills to order
When you were at school what did you want to be?
A nuclear physicist-what happened to that dream?
Where are you originally from and do you have a long commute to work?
Born in Longton Stoke on Trent opposite Longton Park. Now living just outside Blythe Bridge about 20 minutes away from work
Do you have any hobbies outside of work and if so what do you enjoy doing?
I love Cricket, but only as an observer. I am getting into metal detecting whenever I have the time. Looking for the 2nd Staffordshire Hoard!!
When the weekend comes, what your favourite way to spend your time?
Listening to music while reading. However, I usually end up gardening, which I don’t necessarily enjoy, but it is necessary to defend against the encroaching jungle
When you’re in work, what’s your favourite aspect of your job and what challenges can your role also bring?
I really enjoy meeting the people. They always have the best ideas. I also enjoy being involved in finding interesting solutions to problems, and being involved in implementing them
