Pym & Wildsmith welcomes Lisa Fryer as Independent Trustee, Bringing a Wealth of Employee Ownership Expertise
Here at Pym & Wildsmith, a leading company in the metal finishings sector, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa Fryer as our Independent Trustee.
Lisa Fryer has a record of working within and supporting employee-owned company which spans back over 30 years. Lisa’s arrival will bring invaluable knowledge and expertise to our team with a deep understanding of the dynamics within employee-owned company.
In 2017, she joined J Gadd Associates, where she collaborated with colleagues to support various companies in transitioning to employee ownership and maximizing the benefits of this business model.
A strong advocate for good governance, Lisa’s experience as a governance professional and school governor has given her a unique perspective on establishing sound processes and governance structures. She firmly believes in utilising these channels to foster involvement and engagement from all key stakeholders within the company.
In her own words, Lisa expressed her excitement about joining Pym & Wildsmith:
“It feels quite a privilege to be appointed as an Independent Trustee for Pym & Wildsmith, and I am excited to be joining the team as they really get to grips with embedding their employee ownership across the business. I’ve seen the journey the whole team has been on already to get to this point, both physically and emotionally, so I’m hopeful I can bring this understanding to a different role and support them on the next step in their employee ownership story.”
Recognising the significant period of change Pym & Wildsmith has gone through, particularly during their transition to employee ownership, Lisa is eager to work with the other Trustees in establishing solid foundations as the business focuses on embedding what employee ownership means for them.
We are thrilled to have her on board and confident that her expertise and passion for employee ownership will greatly contribute to our team and company as a whole. Lisa’s insights and dedication will undoubtedly play a significant role in shaping Pym and Wildsmith’s future success.
